Description
ALL-DAY PERFORMANCE
The Spirit VCR is the way to go for an all-day shoe that will still climb at a very high level. With three VCR straps, the Spirit VCR allows the same micro-tuned fit as the Spirit Speed. The synthetic upper and minimalist toe cap molds to the foot and reduces stretching over time while still giving the toes some room to flex into proper alignment in the toe box. The leather foot bed and supportive midsole combine with the ImpactZone EVA cushioning in the heels for even higher levels of comfort on big routes. 4.2mm RX2 rubber strikes the right blend between good sensitivity and superb grip while still being able to hold up to the demands of all-day use and abuse.

Described as an 'advanced all rounder' you'd expect great things from this Velcro shoe. The 3 straps give it excellent adjustability so it's possible to get a good fit even though it's not made on a female specific last. The low toe box volume also assists in achieving the 'glove' effect. My feet are held in place by the heel cup well enough for effective heel hooks. A good enough fit is achievable for there to be no noticeable roll anywhere, and even though a firm mid-sole makes it quite a stiff shoe, surprisingly it still manages to feel like a glove when it's on.
