Octan

The Octan marks a new level of sophistication in aggressive climbing shoes. This shoe was designed to crush difficult overhangs and latch onto the smallest footholds with aggression. Everything about the shoe has been shaped and constructed to hold the foot in position for powerful climbing. A breathable neoprene sock places the foot in position against the concave sole, the pre-shaped midsole keeps its shape over the life of the shoe, the molded heel cup holds the heel firmly in place which helps prevent shifting in the shoe on difficult moves, and the powerful slingshot rand drives the toes hard into the toe box for maximum power. The synthetic upper features a strong rubber toe cap to minimize stretching over time and the leather foot bed limits slippage inside the shoe on technical moves.
