Lotus
Description
Convenient as two-or three-strap shoes, the Lotus maintains a tight performance slipper fit, but minimizes the work of squeezing on the shoe. The new closure system allows us to use the split tongue design. Best for tackling comps and especially overhanging terrain, the Lotus is sure to be your go-to sending shoe.

With the fit of a slipper, sticky rubber, and an aggressive shape, the Mad Rock Lotus is a steep climbing powerhouse. These shoes are great for the gym or bouldering since they are easy to get on and off. If they are sized properly (definitely go up a size or two from your street shoe size!) they also make for a comfortable shoe for all-day sport climbing. We are impressed with these kicks, as they're hard to beat when it comes to price and overall performance.
If you love the fit and sensitivity of a snug slipper, but want slightly more support for toeing in on steeps, this is your shoe. Even the narrowest-footed ladies will get excited over the well-designed fit, and the perfect heel is unbeatable.
I’ve worn the Lotus while sport climbing on both limestone and granite and while training in the gym. They’ve excelled on all overhanging terrain, and can heel or toe hook as well as any shoe I’ve ever worn. The extra flange of rubber on the heel cup didn’t improve my heel hooking ability, but it stayed comfortably in place. The Science Friction 3.0 rubber performed well on all surfaces, with average durability.
