Fraggle III
Description
With this padded full body harness even young climbers and little mountaineers weighing up to 40 kg can enjoy a scramble. The stiff construction with the fixed leg loops makes putting the harness on much easier, and thanks to the two Slide Block buckles, the harness is quickly adjusted to the right size. The two large tie-in loops offer enough space for two carabiners clipped in opposite directions (e.g. for top-roping). What makes the Fraggle truey special is that as the child gets bigger, the tie-in point moves and the harness “grows” as well. Besides, the Fraggle is fully manufactured in compliance with the strict bluesign® system requirements, in order to protect the environment, resources and children.

How to use Edelrid Harness, safety, lifespan, storage and care with instructional pictures.
A pictoral representation of UIAA-105 and EN-12277 standards for harnesses.
The UIAA equipment standard provides a baseline for equipment performance in a test lab under controlled conditions on new equipment. Although these test conditions are relevant to the conditions encountered climbing, conditions encountered at the crags and the condition of the equipment are equally important. This recommendation from the UIAA member federation The British Mountaineering Council (BMC) provides vital equipment information that is NOT explicitly addressed in the standard, particularly failure modes of the equipment and recommendations for the use, inspection, maintenance, and retirement of equipment.
