Dragon
Description
The Dragon is a buckleless thigh harness that offers a completely safe introduction to climbing for juniors and adults (climbing, via ferrata, etc.).
Strength: This is a very practical and affordable model for all climbing clubs and schools, aerial adventure, and for individuals too.
Advantages:
Quick to slip on: With no buckle to adjust (patented design), it slips on quickly and safely like a pair of shorts. Children can get themselves kitted out on their own, with no outside help. The waist is adjusted by means of the exclusive self-adjustable and retractable Auto-Secure System (A.S.S)
Special for groups: Colour-coded measuring strip to place around the hips and quickly determine the harness size needed. Saves time when kitting out groups.
Affordable and robust: The harness straps do not suffer wear because there is no adjusting buckle, giving the harness an extended lifespan.
Total safety: Once the harness is attached, you are completely safe. Even if you are turned upside down, it is impossible to slip out of it. The orange tie-in point located just above the centre of gravity prevents the climber from turning upside down, which means an additional chest harness for children is not required.
All the harness elements are safe for group use: The retractable system (A.S.S.) has a load capacity of 1500 kg, the gear loop 200 kg and the rope feed 800 kg.
Quick and easy to identify sizes: The size is stitched into the waist strap and the harnesses are colour-coded by size.
Traceability: Individual tracking number, protected by a clear, weather-resistant window.
Lifespan: Up to 10 years, according to frequency of use, maintenance, storage and care.
Reference: Tested and approved by climbing schools, tree-top adventure courses and mountaineering professionals. To name but a few: Collège combe de Savoie (André DUGIT, encadrant et guide de haute montagne), collège Emile Combes à PONS, Parcours aventure : Pyrénnées HO (Philippe MERCANTI), Nature sensations aventure (Fabien DE MONCEAU), PAH du Trieves...

Gear LoopsNumber of Gear LoopsGear loops are used to hold gear (quickdraws, cams, etc) onto your harness. 4 gear loops is most common. 0 - 1 Gear LoopsMost often on full body harnesses or guide/gym style harnesses. 2-3 Gear LoopsMostly found on lighter harnesses made for [ski] mountaineering or high-end sport climbing where weight is a high priority. 4 - 5 Gear LoopsThe standard/most common number for climbing harnesses. Perfect for sport and trad. More Than 6 Gear LoopsDesigned for long multi-pitch and big wall climbing, found on harnesses made to hold the maximum amount of gear. Worth ConsideringOccasionally, the number of gear loops will change on a harness model depending on the size. There could be 7 gear loops for the med/large but only 5 gear loops for the xsmall/small. In this case we list the highest number for the filters, and then write an explanation on the product page like, “Size S/XS can only fit 5 gear loops.” | 1 Gear loops |
Ice Clip SlotsIce Clip SlotIce clipper slots are made to fit a carabiner that holds ice screws. These slots are generally only used by ice climbers but there is no disadvantage to having them on your harness. Less than 40% of harnesses will have ice clipper slots. And those harnesses will usually have 2 or 4 slots, often located next to, or between, the gear loops. | No, 0 |
