Certification

Certifications

The main climbing gear certifications are CE and UIAA--and normally the UIAA creates the rules that the CE body also supports. When possible, we try to list all the certifications the product carries.

To sell a climbing product in Europe, the device must be CE certified. There are no official requirements to sell climbing gear in the US. The UIAA certification is a voluntary process.

POWER HOUSE DO IT ALL

Pros
Versatile, Reliable, Bomb Proof, Great Fit
Cons
A bit heavy
Familiarity
I’ve used it a ton

I've used these for two seasons now and they have been my go to for alpine adventures.  Ive used them with two different pairs of ski boots and two different pairs of mountaineering boots and the fit is amazing with no need to swap out toe bails (like some other brands).  WI ice and steep snow th

ey do it all. Only down side is they are bit on the heavy side but if you can only swing one pair these are the way to go!
