Mountaineering boots designed for extreme expeditions like the Himalayan peaks and which cover all a mountaineer’s needs. Waterproofness, resistance and excellent protection are always part of our constant research into better shock absorbency and lightness thanks to the use of the most advanced technology that the shoe industry has to offer. The 8000 EVEREST EVO RR mountaineering boots have been designed ad hoc for high altitude expeditions: the removable internal shoe guarantees optimal thermal insulation, the new Vibram® Penia sole has deep, multidirectional studs for better traction and durability and a double intensity PU wedge (rigid PU and shock absorbing PU) to guarantee better absorbency and support whilst maintaining a lightness of boot. The rubber band offers more protection from scratches and lacerations. The high gaiter is waterproof and the YKK zip is resistant to water, wind and UV rays. The optimum thermal insulation of the 8000 EVEREST EVO RR has been certified by the CIMAC institute for temperatures up to -30°C (in a static environment) , but during use in movement the mountaineer can brave more rigid temperatures up to -60°C. Compatibility with automatic crampons makes these boots a perfect choice even for extreme winter expeditions.
