Description
Ice Mutant is perhaps best described as a rock shoe for ice and is designed for extremely technical ice and mixed climbing. Tested and developed in conjunction with ice climbing world cup competitors Ice Mutant gives you amazing precision in a proven and versatile package.
The integrated gaiter in stretch Cordura fabric is tough, close fitting and can be removed completely. Use the gaiter when you want extra warmth or remove it for warmer conditions and an extra weight saving.
The upper is super warm thanks to triple Thinsulate® insulation layers which surround the foot with no cold spots and is fully lined with our unique Dry-Line® lining for guaranteed waterproofness and superior breathability. Ice Mutant comes fitted with the minimalist bolt-on Black Diamond Raptor crampons which have adjustable and replaceable mono front points and a detachable heel spurs.
