Rage Ice
Description
The RAGE ICE is an extreme ice tool for demanding ice routes. The exceptionally ergonomic handle enables accurate placement and effective striking. The handle can be adjusted by installing a spacer to enable its use by smaller hands or when climbing with thin or no gloves. The TPR material enables good grip on both the top and bottom handles. The RAGE ICE comes with the hardened steel waterfall pick for minimal shattering. The steel spike is particularly robust and offers good load-bearing properties (8 kN).
- Ergonomically-shaped handle with finger hole for a secure grip when swinging
- Aggressively curved shaft provides additional clearance, while the balanced construction ensures accurate placement and penetration on rock and ice
- Hardened steel waterfall pick for minimal shattering
- Accelerator that can be optionally mounted on the pick to increase impact force
- Supplied with allen key
- Cut-out in the head suitable for even large carabiners
- Compatible with all technical attachments for EDELRID ice tools to enable customized adaptation to different conditions and areas of use (exception: accelerator not compatible with the Revolt Blade)

CertificationCertificationsThe main climbing gear certifications are CE and UIAA--and normally the UIAA creates the rules that the CE body also supports. When possible, we try to list all the certifications the product carries. To sell a climbing product in Europe, the device must be CE certified. There are no official requirements to sell climbing gear in the US. The UIAA certification is a voluntary process. Learn MoreRock and Ice Certifications Guide |
