The new and improved version of our classic semi-rigid approach shoe. The FRICTION offers stability and toughness for tricky approaches on rocky terrain. They are an ideal choice for approaches or hikes in an alpine environment: solid, comfortable and durable. All-leather upper, high-traction Vibram® outsole, toe and heel caps, extended lacing to the toes, and optimized tongue adjustment. A timeless classic, the FRICTION is a reliable performer on every occasion. Deliberately semi-rigid for support on difficult terrain, this version with a Gore-tex membrane looks great and is perfect for a wide variety of conditions.
