La Sportiva TX3 Men Approach Shoe

Fits my bunions!

Pros
Although it takes a month of wearing them in, the are wide enough to let my bunions breath, baby!
Lightweight
Pretty good edging if you find yourself needing to climb a little
Super comfortable—they've pretty much replaced my hiking boots...
Familiarity
I’ve used it a ton

I'm on my third pair. Bought my first pair 6 years ago. They last, they're comfortable, and they fit my bunions. I also have a pair of the leather version of this shoe, which is equally comfortable and durable.

Improved my climbing by 2 grades!

Pros
Solid design and construction
Like a grigri, takes a little practice, but feels smoother to me overall
Price
Cons
A little heavier than my Grigri
It did not improve my climbing grade
Familiarity
I’ve used it a bunch

I asked for this as an xmas gift after my Grigri got lifted at the gym. How it feels when you're using it... solid, sleak, polished, makes up for the bit of added weight. I wouldn't take it on long multipitch trad climbs anyway. A simple atc guide device is best.

I've been using this to haul my kids up multipitches since 2015. Works like a charm. I have realized it's time to replace it. I've ground the friction side down so much that it's begun to be less effective when used as a standard ATC from below. Rope doesn't feed out as well, and I find myself shorting the lead when they're clipping. But 8 years of multipitch, there is absolutely nothing wrong with the design.
