Description

The Ascender rope clamps from LACD are used as a practical ascent aid for alpine mountaineering, big wall climbing and sport climbing on rocks. The LACD rope clamps are used for ascent on the fixed rope and technical climbing passages with step loops as well as in crevice rescue or mountain rescue. The easy ascent aids are ergonomically adapted to the right and left hand with their shaped handles and are usually used in pairs. This guarantees energy-saving and efficient movement on the rope. The sturdy ascenders made of aluminum, with their generously shaped openings, are easy to use even when wearing gloves. The rope clamp can be used with all dynamic climbing ropes or static ropes that have a diameter between 8 mm and 13 mm. This means that the LACD clamp is suitable for all common rope diameters. Climbers can easily attach carabiners with step loops, rope loops or accessory cords in the eyelets of the Ascender for technical climbs and Jümarn.
