- Adjustable height on shoulder straps
- Improved buckles for easy adjustment
- HUGE carpet square
- Double D-ring to attach two pads together(Iceman pad or Maverick, both will attach to a Maverick)
- High friction corners help keep the pad in place and adds durability
- Velcro & D-ring closure systems to secure gear in pad while apporaching
- Dual density foam
- Continuous top and bottom sheet of foam eliminates any dead spots
- Gusseted closure system prevents foam from breaking down and reduces dead spots in the pad
