The Women's Solution Comp is a softer and more sensitive re-boot on the original fan-favorite. With more rubber coverage on top of the toe and a more traditional, tapered heel, the Comp allows surgical precision on micro holds, enables powerful toe hooks and foot jams and provides super precise heel-toe camming performance.

These shoes are impressive in many ways. In terms of a soft, aggressively shaped slipper meant for high-performance, steep rock climbing, we were hard-pressed to find anything on the market that compares to the Solution Comp. They combine comfort, fit, and design into a tight, stylish package that makes any climber want to try hard. We especially liked the updated toe box, which is slightly wider and has a bit more rubber on top when compared to the classic Solution. The modified heel also provided more sensitivity and security for aggressive heel hooking. It was hard to find anything we didn't like about the Solution Comp, and they seemed just to get better and better the more we wore them.
The gym-focused Solution Comp features a softer midsole, bigger scumming patch, and narrower heel than the original—and was a runaway hit with testers. It broke in quicker than the OG model and performed better on volumes and smears, but the sensitive, form-fitting heel was the most winning tweak. “It’s more pared-down, which made it super-glommy around arêtes and on volumes,” said one tester. The updates paired perfectly with tried-and-true features like the pointy, precise toebox, downturned P3 platform for mega “bite” on steeps and micros, sticky 3.5mm Vibram XS Grip 2 sole, and Fast Lacing System. And the Comps performed just as well bouldering outdoors.
