Ascent

The original design concept for this helmet was angled towards outdoor centre use, but the more we looked at the design the more we realised that the needs of our centre customers coincided with the needs of the individual climber, regardless of how much experience they had.

Obviously we needed to make it strong and robust, yet also light enough that you won’t notice its presence on your head too much. To achieve this we constructed the shell from strong ABS plastic that resists flexing and additional protection is provided to the crown by an EPS insert.

All helmets need to be comfortable to wear and easy to adjust. Get that right and you are on to a winner; as it happens we think we’ve got it absolutely spot on with the Ascent. Try one on and see what you think.

It has a wide size range, good ventilation and is available in highly visible colours. It also has lightweight buckles, a comfortable chin strap and headtorch clips should you find yourself caught out by fading daylight.
