Waffa
Description
This slim launch pad boulder mat has been designed to be used in conjunction with a larger mat for sit starts or to protect traverses and cover outlying rocks.
Waffa can be carried inside a larger mat such the Mujo or Project as well as many other pads on the market. Waffa can also be used by itself to protect short problems, ground traverses or circuits where you just don't want, or need, to carry your main pad.
Waffa does not offer the same degree of impact protection as a full size mat, please climb sensibly and accept its limitations. Remember climbing can be a dangerous sport!
The only corners we have cut on Waffa are the ones on the pad itself. The rounded corners make the pads more difficult to make but they reduce wear points which is good long term. Made right here in our own workshop we are in total control of every element, from the fabric to the seams to the thread holding it together.
The shell is a burly 1000D Cordura, not some far eastern copy spelt slightly differently, this is the real deal. By buying this pad you are funding a bunch of climbers to go and do what they love to do.. climb.
