Garmont Ascent

Pros
Stiffness
Comfortable for walking
Precision on rock
Cons
Takes very long to dry
Loses water-proofness after 5+ hours
Familiarity
I’ve used it a ton

Very good boot for 3 season alpinism, very precise on rock given the climbing zone on the front and the stiffness, still comfortable for not too long approaches (max 10 km). Given the price you can find it i'd say it's great as a first alpinism boot or for not too high or technical mountains.
