Red Chili considers last information super top secret so we can’t define the last types further than the initials PF-30. But, if you find a Red Chili shoe that fits, any Red Chili shoes with the same last initials will fit your foot in a very similar way.

WeighMyRack Gear Review first-hand review

Straight out of the box I was amazed at the comfort of the Corona VCR. It’s not the highest performing shoe I’ve ever worn, nor is it touted as such, but if you’re looking for a comfortable shoe that will get the job done in a wide range of situations, the Corona is most definitely worth a look. After months of testing on everything from wet granite to polished limestone to overhanging sandstone, I understand why the Corona VCR is Red Chili’s top selling shoe. The combination of versatility, comfort and performance are impressive, particularly at the $140 price.

Rock and Ice Gear Review rating 2/5

The Corona, made in China, strikes a balance between an edging shoe and an aggressive one. If you are looking to get into the world of down-turned shoes, especially if your toes are weak, or you are a heavier person who needs support, the Corona is a great choice.

This year’s Corona VCR has a new, supportive midsole, which improves upon an already popular shoe. The flat, asymmetric last is comfortable, even as it focuses power to the big toe. Lined, synthetic uppers offer little stretch, while two hook-and-loop straps effectively adjust the fit. Testers unanimously praised both the 4.5mm RX2 rubber and the shoe’s ability to edge on dimes. The pointy, low-profile toe – one of the best in the review – easily fits into small pockets and thin cracks. The Corona VCR is too stiff and flat for grabbing footholds on the steepest routes, but it crushes slabs to slight overhangs.
