Description

Replacement pick for the Petzl Nomic I, Quark II, Ergo II ice axes. The pick is manufactured by a special process from high strength medium alloy steel and then heat-treated for increased durability and service life - the characteristics which are particularly important for outdoor dry-tooling and long mixed routes. The super aggressive geometry of the pick allows for secure placement even on the micro holds and minor edges of the terrain but requires a special (top-down) hitting technique when climbing pure ice routes. Designed for: competitive ice climbing, dry-tooling, mixed climbing. NOTE: The pick has no cut to add a hammer or an adze.
