Description

Designed for a lower volume foot and heel, the Cypher Phelix comes with a perforated toe-box and heel-cup designed for technical toe and heel-hooking. Not all feet are the same, for that reason the Phelix uses the cross-velcro system to provide a custom fit to the foot. Made of leather with an inside cotton lining. 4.2mm Vibram XS Grip rubber provides a sticky sole to land any of those tiny foot jibs.

Climbing Report Gear Review no rating given just a review

Everyone needs a quality all-day shoe that can ramp up and handle tough routes when needed and the Cypher Phelix never let us down. The fit works great for female feet and the flat last means you don’t need to take these shoes off after every climb. The synthetic material constricted air flow a bit but wasn’t too much of a problem. That same material proved to be very durable, with little to no wear showing after a month of heavy duty testing. The blue/red/black color scheme looked great and the price is great for such a shoe that performed so well. MSRP is $99.95.
