Replacement pick for the Black Diamond Fusion I/II, Reactor, Viper and Cobra ice axes. The pick is manufactured by a special process from high strength armor steel and then heat-treated. Due to the special properties of the steel grades used for picks production, heat-treatment allows to obtain an extremely high hardness level while maintaining elasticity. This results in increased durability and service life - the characteristics which are particularly important for outdoor dry-tooling and long mixed routes. The aggressive geometry of the pick calls for a special (top-down) hitting technique on pure ice routes. Designed for: competitive ice climbing, dry-tooling, mountaineering, mixed climbing. This pick is the choice of many World cup winners and runners up: Lyulyukin Ivan, Park Heeyong, Markus Bendler and others.
